About AREVS

We give you an accurate home energy efficiency grade in 5 minutes.

And then we help you raise your grade.

What we do:

AREVS: (American Residential Energy Verification System) develops software applications and data sets for the Home Performance, Real Estate, and Energy industries.

Our  RESNET approved Heating Energy Assessment Tool (HEAT) uses your home energy heating fuel consumption costs to give you an accurate A-F grade of your home’s energy efficiency. In the full HEAT report, an accurate NEL (normalized energy load ) analysis provides detailed energy consumption and annual projected costs for Heating, Cooling, and Domestic Hot Water.

HEAT gives realtors, energy auditors, certified home performance contractors, licensed home inspectors, and homeowners a fast, accurate, free tool for assessing home energy performance.

Real estate professionals and mortgage brokers can use HEAT to estimate true home ownership costs (the PITE payment: Principal, Interest, Taxes, and Energy).

For government and nonprofit professionals, HEAT provides home performance data for quality assurance and program evaluation.

With as little as one heating fuel bill (during the heating season) Homeowners can use HEAT to get a baseline of their home’s energy consumption, costs (Heating, Cooling and Domestic Hot Water costs), and overall rated performance . HEAT can be used to prove the actual $$ savings of energy conservation measures performed with a “before” and “after” rating.
